Casual High Low

DSC04958
Hi y'all!

I hope you all had a fruitful week. How time flies. I love my Fridays. My mood gets lighter as i anticipate a good rest and catching up with hubby, Tv and friends.

Something interesting happened as we did this shoot. Before this shoot, i never knew how self conscious i am until we came to this random street in Jinja town and decided to shoot. During the shoot, we caused a little scene as children, boda boda (motorbike) riders, and people shot glances at us and some even took their time to stop and stare :) This made me blush and laugh at how people were just amazed.  I dont know if i want to cause such a scene again. The beauty of Uganda.

I love the freeness of this high low top. With the heat in this place, its a perfect fit to carry my day to day activities in comfort.

Love My Roots

KD1

Hi Loves!

Been a while in deed. I am glad to be back as it is always a joy sharing my happenings with you. Now life has been pretty much exciting to say and so much has been happening with me. Hubby and i just came back from a holiday (which was much needed) and all i can say is that it was an awesome time. I got to spend time with my family which i had not been with the past 2 years and it was worth our while. Letting go was not fun, but life has to move on. For those following me on instagram have been able to keep up with me as i tried my best to regularly update my moves. For those on instagram follow me on erenez for more updates.

As for today's outfit, it is another outfit made by my tailor. As a Congolese woman, i enjoy watching Congolese women dress up in their kitenge. I love the variety in the fabrics, the colours, patterns and designs. The women usually look beautiful and sophisticated in their attires. I probably need to do an outfit post with me dressed the way Congolese women do.

With the warm Ugandan weather, i decided to make a dress which would enable me to freely cope with the weather. I like my comfort hence the freeness of the dress. Love the feather earrings which make a statement on their own.
